An extended payment arrangement allows eligible customers additional time to pay the balance on their account. Payment arrangements process in the Central time zone according to the date and amount predetermined upon eligibility.

Am I eligible? Available to postpaid customers who need extra time paying their bill. Your account can be less than 30 days past the due date to initiate a payment arrangement but if it's 31+ days past due, you may be required to pay a portion of your past due balance.

Late payments to your phone carrier can still cause services to be cut. However, they won't report as a missed payment on your credit report for anywhere between 30?90 days. Before the balance is reported and potentially sold to a collections agency, you will typically incur late fees.

Your mobile provider could cut your phone off so you're unable to make or receive calls. If you don't take steps to deal with the debt, your account will default and the contract will be cancelled. The mobile provider can then take action to recover the outstanding bill, following the normal debt collection process.

If you need more time to pay your bill, but want to make sure you're up to date with your payments, you can set up your account to arrange late payments. This option allows you to select which days of the month are best for you to make payments to your account.

ATT does not grant extensions once you are past due. You needed to set up a late payment arrangement online before you were past due. Just pay when you can but your service may be suspended at any time.

After signing in, select Billing & payment options to see all your payment activity. Select scheduled payments to manage or edit the date, amount, or method of a payment that's scheduled to post before your due date. You can only cancel or change payments that are scheduled to post before your due date.
