Unless there is some special JavaScript code, one can just cut and paste the form field from PDF to another. Another approach could be to create the form field in PDF of just that form field and then insert that PDF into the new form and then cut and paste the form field as needed and delete the inserted page.

Make sure that the security settings allow form filling. (See File > Properties > Security.) Make sure that the PDF includes interactive, or fillable, form fields.If you can't type in the form fields, then the fields are probably not interactive.
