You can do the following in Tableau: Copy/paste sheets from one workbook to another (Brings over associated data source) Copy/paste/duplicate calculated fields in a single data source/workbook. Copy/paste calculated fields from one data source to another in the same workbook.

Step 1: Create the calculated field In a worksheet in Tableau, select Analysis > Create Calculated Field. In the Calculation Editor that opens, give the calculated field a name. In this example, the calculated field is called Profit Ratio.

The ability to pivot on calculated fields is only included in Tableau Prep. If it is not possible to use Tableau Prep, then it may still be possible to build the desired view without pivoting the calculated fields. See Creating Views When Data is Formatted as Text Lists.

You can use parameters in calculations and calculated fields that are used in the view. You can display the parameter control in the view for users to select parameters.
