Expand Text Title For Free

To add a heading style to text in Word, select the text, choose the Home tab in the ribbon, and in the Styles box, pick the heading style you want. When you save your document in another format for download, such as HTML or PDF, Word retains the headings styles, so everyone can still get the benefits of your headings.

Collapse or expand parts of a document Place your cursor in the heading. On the HOME tab, in the Paragraph group, click the dialog box launcher. In the Paragraph dialog box, click the checkbox next to Collapsed by default. Click OK.

To collapse or expand all the headings in your document, right-click the heading and click Expand/Collapse > Expand All Headings or Collapse All Headings. When you close and reopen a document, the headings will be expanded by default.

Insert collapsible text boxes The collapsible text box will appear have a Heading box and a Normal text box. Add the text you want to be visible on your page all of the time, in the upper heading text box.

You can expand or collapse all headings in the document by right-clicking any heading and selecting Expand All Headings or Collapse All Headings as necessary. This trick can be used to ease up browsing or reading lengthy, complicated word documents.

Fit text automatically Click anywhere in the text. On the Format menu, point to AutoFit Text, and do one of the following: To reduce the point size of text until there is no text in overflow, click Shrink Text On Overflow. To shrink or expand text to fit in the text box when you resize the box, click Best Fit.
