Draft Page Break Log For Free

To view manual page breaks, paragraph marks and other non-printing characters in Microsoft Word: Click the Home tab in the Ribbon. Click Show/Hide ¶ in the Paragraph group Paragraph marks, tabs, spacing and manual page breaks will display but will not print.

Select Home > Show/Hide . This will display non-printing characters?paragraph markers, section breaks, page breaks, etc. ?that you may want to see while you're working on your document. Double-click the page break so that it's selected, and then press Delete.

Show section breaks Go to Home > Show all nonprinting characters. You should see section breaks that will look similar to this:

If you added section breaks to your document, the easiest way to see where they begin and end is to show formatting marks. Go to Home, and select Show all nonprinting characters. Select the section break and then press Delete.

Delete all section breaks at once From the ribbon, select Home > Replace (found on the right along with Find and Select) From the Replace box, type ^b in the ?Find what:? field. Leave the ?Replace with:? field blank, with no spaces. Click the ?Replace All? button to remove all section breaks from your document.

If you are using Draft view, section breaks appear as a thin double line from one side of your document to the other. If you are not working in Draft view, you may want to consider changing to Draft view, as editing special characters (such as the section break) is easier in that view.

When your document is displayed in Draft view, automatic page breaks are indicated by a single horizontal line across the page, and manual page breaks are indicated by a single horizontal line with the words Page Break in the centre of the line.
