Go to the Office web page, and in the upper right-hand corner select Sign In to sign in with your Microsoft 365 work or school account. Lightweight versions of the Office apps are available right there. Just click an app icon to start using the app in your browser.

If it was saved to some "cloud" location, such as OneDrive, it should be accessible from any other computer that can access that location.

To open and edit a file in the Microsoft 365 desktop app while in OneDrive or SharePoint: Select the file in OneDrive or SharePoint. Select the More icon. , then select Open > Open in app.

Choose Start, type the name of the application, like Word or Excel, in the Search programs and files box. In the search results, click the application to start it. Choose Start > All Programs to see a list of all your applications. You might need to scroll down to see the Microsoft Office group.

Office online is a free version of Office 365. It is linked to your Outlook/Microsoft account (if you don't have it, you can create it by going to Outlook.com). Because it's a web application that runs in your browser, Office Online will run on everything, from PCs and Chromebooks to iPads and Android tablets.

Sign in to Microsoft 365, go to your OneDrive library or team site, and then click (or tap) the name of a Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, or PDF document. The document opens in your browser, in Office for the web. Office for the web also opens Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF attachments in Outlook Web App.
