Display Chart Settlement For Free

As overseer of a settlement, you will make key decision, direct the construction of buildings and resolve disputes between citizens. A well-managed settlement will produce plenty of materials - enough that a sucessful overseer may claim surplus resources each day. However, unproductive settlements may go into debt.

To find your first settlement in No Man's Sky, you just need to get on your ship and fly into space. You will then receive a distress signal and a beacon will be marked on a nearby planet. Once you have reached the Settlement, you will need to speak to one of the villagers. Sentinels will appear that you must defeat.

Furthermore, you can buy a settlement chart or map from the cartographer in The Anomaly or at any space station. You can then use the chart in order to get a navigation point for a settlement.

You can only have one settlement at a time in No Man's Sky. If you want to get a different settlement in a new location, then go to a Space Station and purchase a Settlement Chart from a Cartographer. This will point you to a new settlement that is in need of an Overseer.

There are several settlements per planet and they can be in close proximity or far away. Planets have multiple settlements. They can be found with Settlement Charts, purchased from the space station cartographer.

The easiest way to find a settlement is just to climb into your ship and leave whatever planet you were on. After installing the Frontiers update, you'll receive a radio message in space, a distress call from one of the new settlements.
