Design Watermark Title For Free

It typically depicts a logo or copyright information, but a watermark can actually provide much more than that. Based on your design, it can include contact information, important text, or other info to protect the visual content beneath it.

First, create your custom watermark. On the Page Layout tab, select Watermark > Custom Watermark. Choose Picture Watermark and select a picture, or choose Text watermark and type your watermark text in the Text box. Click OK.

Although the name may be confusing, especially in digital world, a watermark is a mark or lettering superimposed onto the photo showing who its owner is: a photographer, a company or a website. It is a technique known already for ages and is still used for example in marking banknotes.

Watermarks are semitransparent words, phrases, or images that identify ownership (e.g., Copyright Generic Brand, LLC), indicate confidentiality (e.g., Confidential, Do Not Copy), or show status (e.g., Urgent, Draft).

A watermark is a visible semitransparent stamp: a logo, a name of a brand or a name overlaid on the original image. Ideally, a watermark should not distract the attention from the image itself. The first and foremost purpose of adding watermark to photos is to protect your copyrights and prevent image theft.

Ideally, the watermark should be visible without detracting attention away from the contents of the image itself. For that reason, it's better to use a watermark that's free of any color or anything else that's too eye-catching.

On the Design tab, select Watermark. In the Insert Watermark dialog, select Text and either type your own watermark text or select one, like DRAFT, from the list. Then, customize the watermark by setting the font, layout, size, colors, and orientation.Select OK.
