A currency forward is a binding contract in the foreign exchange market that locks in the exchange rate for the purchase or sale of a currency on a future date. A currency forward is essentially a customizable hedging tool that does not involve an upfront margin payment.

The futures contracts allow the company to manage their risk and have more predictable revenue. Companies that do business internationally may use currency futures to offset their risk in the fluctuations of currencies.

It is a contract between the bank and its customers in which the exchange/conversion of currencies would take place at future date at a rate of exchange in advance under the contract. Delete a Sales Agreement In a sales agreement's record, select Delete on the header. Click Delete to confirm your action. To delete a Contract, click Del next to the Contract on the Contracts list page. A Contract can also be deleted by clicking Delete on the Contract detail page. Note: When deleting a Contract, all related Notes, Attachments, Events and Tasks, History, and Approval Requests are deleted.
