Call or email the school district directly and tell them that you need a copy of your diploma. Again, they should have records for every student that went to school in your district. They should be able to send you a copy of your diploma no problem.

To obtain a transcript from a California public school, you will need to contact the school directly. If the school is closed, we suggest contacting the local school district or the County Office of Education for assistance. Contact information for these entities may be obtained from the California School Directory.

Diplomas for schools in the United States are offered in two sizes: 8.5 x 11 and 11 x 14. For international diplomas, paper is offered in standard A4 size. The addition of school crests, seals, emblems, gold foil, signatures and raised lettering to diploma parchment enhances the document's appearance of legitimacy.

To request a copy of your transcript from a closed school, complete and sign a Transcript Request Form (below) and email, mail, or fax the form to the Workforce Board.

BY MAIL (GaHSE Request) If you graduated from high school or earned your diploma in another state, contact the school district or state from which you graduated. Complete the GaHSE Transcript/Diploma Request Form. Enter information including your mailing address and requested delivery address. Sign the request form.

Students can acquire a copy of their transcripts from their local school, school district or the Louisiana Department of Education. Schools and school districts maintain permanent records and provide electronic copies to the Louisiana Department of Education via Student Transcript System (STS).
