Log in to Customer Connect. Select Manage Licenses from the Quick Links icon or by selecting Products and Accounts > Accounts > License Management. If you are associated with multiple accounts, choose the appropriate account from the dropdown at the top of the page.

Log in to Customer Connect and follow the path for Support. Under Entitlement Account, select 'Transfer licenses between my Entitlement Accounts'. This will take you to the self-help section.

On the VMware web site, click SUPPORT > Your Account > Product Registration, sign in, and enter your LAC in the appropriate box. After you register your LAC, you can display, manage, and activate your licenses using the VMware web-based license activation portal.

In order to use the license on another PC, or OS, uninstall the product from the old system, before you use the license key on the new one.

To calculate the number of licenses required, consider that each per- processor license includes licensing for up to 32 physical cores in each CPU. If using per core term licenses, calculate the number of physical cores per CPU (requires minimum of 16 cores / CPU for per core licensing).

Select Manage License Keys from the navigation bar at the top. Select Combine License Keys from the dropdown: Select a folder. Note: You cannot combine license keys from different folders.

Combine data using the CONCAT function Select the cell where you want to put the combined data. Type =CONCAT(. Select the cell you want to combine first. Use commas to separate the cells you are combining and use quotation marks to add spaces, commas, or other text. Close the formula with a parenthesis and press Enter.
