Absolutely! Instagram Highlights last as long as you want. Until and unless you decide to delete the Highlights, it will remain visible on your profile forever. Unlike Instagram Stories where it will only stay visible for 24 hours, any story that is added to Highlights will last eternity.

Navigate to the profile whose Highlight you want to share. Then hold the Highlight folder on the profile screen and from the menu select Send to if you are going to share it with Instagram users. Then choose the people with whom you want to share the Highlight.

When it comes to highlights, there is no way to know if a user has added any new photo or video from a story to highlights except by checking it manually. Highlights are available on the user's profile beneath the bio.

Go to your profile and tap below 'Stories Highlights'. Tap to select the Story (or Stories) you want to add to highlights, then tap 'Next'. Choose a cover photo and enter a Story name for your highlight, then tap 'Add'. You can add more photos or videos to your highlight at any time by tapping 'Edit Highlight'.

How to add more stories in a current Highlight Go to your profile and hold your finger pressed on the Highlight you want to edit. Tap Edit Highlight. Choose the stories you want to add and tap Done.

Open the Story on your smartphone. Tap the Highlight button at the bottom of the screen. Choose the Highlight you want to save the Story toeither a new or existing one. Hit Save and preview the new Highlight on your Instagram profile.

Go to your profile and hold your finger pressed on the Highlight you want to edit. Tap Edit Highlight. Choose the stories you want to add and tap Done.
