Insert a watermark on just one pageSelect where you want the watermark to be on the page.Select Design > Watermark > right-click the watermark you want, and select Insert at Current Document Position. The watermark appears as a text box.

If it's a text watermark, you'll have the WordArt Tools tab available, and if it's a picture, you'll see the Picture Tools tab when the watermark is selected. If it's a text watermark, you can drag it to change its position on the page, but no other editing. If it's a picture, right-click and choose Format Picture.

Go to the Design tab and, in the Page Background group, select Watermark. (Depending on the version of Word, the path may be Page Layout > Page Background > Watermark.) Select Custom Watermark. In the Printed Watermark dialog box, select Picture watermark.
