Assignment Delete Value Choice For Free

Currently, you cannot delete a submission from an assignment in Canvas. What you can do is open the assignment back up just for that student and have them re-submit.

Click on the Assignments Tab. In the Date View filter on the right, select Previous (if was active for a past date), Active (if active now), or Future (if active for a future date) Click the red X next to the Assignment Name that you wish to remove. Click Confirm.

Once a file has been successfully submitted to an assignments, you can't delete it. However, if you have the ability to make another submission, re-submit the file and make sure to also contact your instructor and let them know that you are re-submitting a file to the assignment.

An assignment can only be deleted from the Teacher Dashboard by the teacher that created the assignment.

If you've deleted an assignment on Google Classroom, you will see your "Share Assignment" buttons to post an assignment and its scores to Google Classrooms is disabled.They will be able to unlink your assignment from Google Classroom and allow you to create the post again.
