Like an Excel spreadsheet, grades can easily be entered and updated directly within the Canvas Gradebook.For assignments where the majority of students are to receive the same grade, use the Default Grade option to bulk update each student's grade for an individual assignment.

Go to the assignment and click Edit. Scroll down to the Group Assignment options. Click the checkbox for Assign Grades to Each Student Individually. Save the assignment.
