Text highlighting and handwritten notesAnnotations in the browser is now extended to PDFs as well. Look for the Add notes button next to browser address bar to move into the annotations mode. The annotations toolbar has all the tools to highlight text or use Windows Ink to write on your documents.

To add a text note: Choose Tools > Text Tool. Choose Notes > Text Note. Drag in the document until the note is located where you want and has the size you want. To enter text, double-click the note.

Right-click the cell and then click Insert Comment (or press Shift+F2). If you're using Excel for Office 365, right-click the cell and choose New Note. Type your annotation text. Click outside the cell.

Open your PDF document. Right-click on the PDF document where you want to add the sticky-note. Select Add Sticky-note from the right-click menu. Within the Annotations Editor dialogue box, you can give the note a subject and select the background color.

Type in the address bar shell:startup and press ENTER. With the Startup folder open, open the Start Menu (or the Start screen) and find the shortcut for Sticky Notes. Drag the Sticky Notes shortcut to the Startup folder opened in File Explorer (or Windows Explorer).

Click the Applications folder in the Dock, and then click the Stickies icon. Click the File menu, and then click New Note. Type the text into the note area. To increase or decrease the note size, drag the lower-right corner of the sticky note. Click the Font menu, and then select from the font options.
