Arrange Image Resolution For Free

Go to google.com/advanced_image_search and use the detailed search boxes there to perform your search. One of them is Image size and it lets you pick a specific minimum for your results, ranging from 400x300 and up to 20, 40, and even 70 megapixels. To check a photo's resolution on a Windows PC, select the file you want to use. Right-click on the image and then select "Properties." A window will appear with the image's details. Go to the "Details" tab to see the image's dimensions and resolution.

Perform an image search and find an image which looks like what you want. If the resolution is too small, copy the image URL and use it in a Reverse Image Search to show other sizes of the same image. Alternatively, decide the minimum image resolution you want, based on your application, then: Perform an image search.

To change the resolution of a photo simply right-click the thumbnail in Photo Gallery. Select "Resize". Select from the options. If you don't see the size you want select "Custom" then enter the larger dimension size in pixels (like 1600).

You can't. Google image search has no option to sort the results. They are always sorted by their relevance(according to Google's algorithm). Images can be seen sorted by resolution only when you search for similar images for an image.

At present, Google Photos doesn't have an option to sort on file size. True, we will need that feature for controlling all uploads beyond the 31st of May 2021, al the uploads till that date will continue to occupy zero space even after the new policy comes into force.

Open the folder or library that you want to sort in the File Explorer. Right-click an empty space inside that folder, point to Sort by, and then click a property as per your requirement. The "Sort by" menu will show Name, Date, Tags, Size and etc. Select the required property to sort the images as per requirement.
