Go to File menu and then select Export PDF with Annotations. A pop-up window will prompt you to select if you'd like to export the PDF contents with the notes and highlights, or just the notes. Once you've made your choice, click OK and select the location and name you'd like to save the file.

To fetch highlighted text from PDF, open PDF file on its interface, and access the Comment tab. In that tab, click on Export option available in Manage Comments section. You will see the Highlighted Text option. Use that option and then you can save all the highlighted text as a text file.

Click and drag the cursor to select the area of text you want to highlight. A small toolbox will appear above your text. Select the highlighter tool icon and it will automatically highlight your selected text. To modify, click on the highlighted area, and a new toolbox will appear.
