Append Fax Title For Free

Tip: If you're already in Word for the web, get to the fax templates by going to File > New, and then below the template images click More on Office.com. You'll be on the Templates for Word page. In the list of categories, click Fax Covers.

Click the "Faxes" icon in the Office.com Templates section of the Available Templates pane to view all blank fax cover sheets.

The header of your fax shows information about the date and time, sender and receiver's fax numbers, the number of pages of that specific fax, as well as a customizable text (fax header).

Click the "Office" button and choose Save As. Type a name for the fax cover sheet and select Save. Now your cover sheet is generic, blank and ready to be customized for a recipient. At this point, you can print out multiple copies if you prefer to hand-write the fax details on the page.
