Adjust Footnote Log For Free

By default, the Footnote Reference character style is defined as Superscript. Select one of your footnote references (in text or in the footnote), right-click, and choose Style... Click Modify, then Format, then Font and make sure that the box for Superscript is checked.

Please try clicking on the Review tab of the Ribbon, then on the Accept icon and choosing Accept All Changes in Document. On the same tab make sure Track Changes is switched to OFF. If there are any comments, right-click on each one and choose Delete. Then your footnotes should update correctly.

To Modify the footnote Style;Right mouse click the Footnote Text style 0192Choose Update Footnote Text to Match Selection from the list. The style will change and become the default but only in this document. Any existing and new footnotes will have this style as well.Apr 14, 2020

In the ribbon section, go to the references tab and click on the large 'Insert Footnote' icon....Changing the formatting and layout of your footnoteSelect the footnote. After typing out the footnote, select it.Go to the top of your screen and click on references.Make your changes.
