Branching conditional logic occurs when there are options based on the input for different conditions. If you give a mouse a cookie, then he'll ask for a glass of milk. Conditional logic in regards to forms is a way to create forms that change based on input. You can configure fields to display or hide based on a user's response to other fields. This allows you to tailor your forms to your users' specific needs.

A conditional field is a field that is hidden from the respondent's view by default. Once triggered by a multiple-choice option, it is visible on the form.To create a conditional field, you must have a multiple-choice field to trigger it. Conditional fields cannot be triggered by text input questions.

Because Contact Form 7 is a simple plugin at its core, it doesn't have conditional logic or fields by default. Instead, you'll need to install the Contact Form 7 Conditional Fields add-on.

For example, in the text field, the conditional logic is checking the actual text in that field.
