Add Last Name Field PDF For Free

Open your PDF document. Switch to Edit Mode. Wait for the Edit toolbar to appear. Select the Text Box icon. Click on the page that you want to add the Text Box. Remove place-holding text and enter desired text in the box.

Open the PDF file to which you want to add a drop down list. Click once on the "Open" icon on the "File" toolbar. Use the "Look in" drop down list to choose the folder to which the PDF document is saved. Double click on the document name to open it.

Double-click the field where you want to display the result to open the Properties dialog box. Click the Calculate tab. To add the values entered into fields, click the Value Is The radio button. Pick Sum from the popup menu.

Open the PDF document. Click on the Forms tab > Form Typer. Expand Page 1 in Form Controls. Right-click in the field > click on Edit. Update the Field Name to match to the field you want to auto-populate from.

On the page, click where you want to add the field to create a field with the default size. To create a field using a custom size, drag a rectangle to define the size of the field. In the Field Name box, type the name of the field and specify if you want the field to be a required field.

You can create a custom-sized field by clicking the workspace and then dragging. Release the mouse click when you have made the field the desired size. When your end user interacts with the field that you have just created, the tool tip will automatically display the name that you specified.
