Add Formula Title For Free

Click the chart, and then click the Chart Design tab. Click Add Chart Element > Chart Title, and then click the title option that you want. Type the title in the Chart Title box. To format the title, select the text in the title box, and then on the Home tab, under Font, select the formatting that you want.

The SERIES FormulaSelect a series in a chart. The source data for that series, if it comes from the same worksheet, is highlighted in the worksheet. And a formula appears in the Formula Bar. You didn't have to write the formula.

Click on the chart's title, to select it. Click in the Formula bar, and type an Equal Sign (=) Click on cell B1, which contains the worksheet title. Press Enter, to complete the formula.
