In your HubSpot account, navigate to Contacts > Lists. In the upper right, click Create list. In the left panel, select Contact-based to create a list of contacts, or Company-based to create a list of companies. In the right panel, enter a name for the list and select if you want an Active list or a Static list.

In your HubSpot account, click the settings settings icon in the main navigation bar. In the left sidebar menu, navigate to Objects > Companies. In the Automation section, select the Create and associate companies with contacts checkbox.

The first step is to Open HubSpot, and Click the Dropdown icon in the upper right corner of your screen. Click Profile & Preferences. Click Account Defaults in the left hand side of your screen. Scroll down, and Click Company address text bar.

A company is an account, or an organisation, that you might do business with. A contact is a person at that company. Companies and contacts have different defualt properties reflecting the different types of entity they represent. Also, multiple contacts can be assocaited with one Company.

On the company record, your team can store and review information about the organization. This helps users in your HubSpot account to stay up-to-date. Once you've created a company record, you can associate the record to other records, such as contacts, deals, and tickets.
