Get University of Nevada 2018-2019 Scholarship Appeal Form 2018-2024

You may file an appeal by submitting a case and providing justification documentation to Salesforce to request a refund under special circumstances. Do not submit a case if you dropped courses before the drop deadlines! Your refund will automatically be sent to you.

You will be automatically admitted if you have at least a 3.0 GPA in the required high school courses, or have at least a 1040 SAT score (Math and Critical Reading) or 22 ACT composite, or a Nevada Advanced high school diploma.

UNLV Signature An academic scholarship for undergraduate students offered at the time of admission, in recognition of their academic achievements. To be considered, students must be both admitted to UNLV and submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Alternate Need Form by the priority deadline.

Alternate Need Determination Form Complete this form by logging onto Self-Service to determine your financial need for select UNLV scholarship and grant programs as a non-FAFSA eligible student. Do not complete this form if you are a U.S. Citizen or an eligible non-citizen.

UNLV admissions decisions are offered on a rolling basis, so you will be provided an admission decision relative to when you apply and submit required documents. The usual turnaround time is one to two weeks once all required documentation has been received and posted to your file.

Students can pursue scholarships from various sources, including external organizations, the State of Nevada, and the University of Nevada, Reno. New incoming freshmen students who have completed all admissions requirements by February 1 are automatically considered for new freshmen scholarship programs.

UNLV admissions is somewhat selective with an acceptance rate of 83%. Students that get into UNLV have an average SAT score between 1030-1250 or an average ACT score of 19-25.
