Get Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA) - Music City Star

Music City Circuit routes provide free service around downtown Nashville. There are three Music City Circuit routes (see Figure 2). It should be noted that there are inconsistencies between how MTA classifies its services and how the public perceives them.

Single Ride tickets can be purchased at the ticket vending machines on the platforms (remember you need 2 to go and return). Each way is $5 unless you are traveling to and from Donelson which costs $2. Children age 4 and under are FREE.

Nashville MTA's Music City Circuit is a free bus service that runs 3 routes through the downtown Nashville corridor every 10 to 15 minutes, Monday through Saturday. Hop a ride to the Nashville Farmers' Market for lunch, catch happy hour in The Gulch, see the newest exhibit at the Frist or attend a concert at the Ryman.

In addition, the Music City Circuit offers passengers free transportation in downtown Monday through Saturday, the Green Circuit offers transportation between downtown and The Gulch and the Blue Circuit provides transportation between the Schermerhorn Symphony Center and Bicentennial Mall State Park.

Park It! Downtown Shuttles Services Downtown Shuttle Service from Nissan Stadium to downtown is provided by the Nashville Downtown Partnership.

You can also take an airport shuttle, a public bus (route 18) or a taxi. Ride-hailing apps, such as Uber and Lyft, also operate in Nashville. A car is the most efficient way to move around Nashville and see its top sights. Some hotels offer complimentary parking and finding a spot downtown isn't too much of a hassle.

The WeGo Star (reporting mark NRTX) (formerly the Music City Star) is a commuter rail service which runs between Nashville and Lebanon, Tennessee. The service uses the existing track of the Nashville and Eastern Railroad.
