CADTH is accountable to the Conference of Federal-Provincial-Territorial Deputy Ministers of Health. Core funding is provided through financial contributions from Canada's federal, provincial, and territorial governments, except Quebec.

CADTH is an independent, not-for-profit organization responsible for providing health care decision-makers with objective evidence to help make informed decisions about the optimal use of health technologies, including: drugs.

This form is used by CADTH to determine if a product is eligible for review through one of the single drug review pathways and to assess the complexity of the pending submission. This form should only be completed for products that have received or are eligible to receive a drug identification number (DIN) in Canada.

The CDR is a national review process. It is managed by the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH). The CDR looks at: how well the drug works compared to similar drugs used to treat the same condition; and • whether the drug provides value for money.

CADTH assesses health technologies by appraising the clinical and economic evidence. Assessments may also include reviews of the legal, ethical, social, implementation, and environmental considerations of a health technology, and may incorporate input from experts such as clinicians and patient groups.
