Ate and local officials to determine the hardest hit areas and the best locations for the BRCs. In order to maintain a high level of customer service in the affected areas and for security purposes, SBA assigned a minimum of two employees to most of the BRCs in the Gulf Coast. This allowed us to give prompt assistance to small business owners affected by the oil spill as well as to ensure the availability of translation services. SBA staff in the BRCs met individually with small business owners.
