The Shiloh Shepherd has a combination of a few breeds in their genetic makeup that include the Alaskan Malamute and German Shepherd Dog. This big pooch is a softie and often described as affectionate and loving.

Shiloh Shepherd puppies will usually cost between $2,000 and $4,000 depending on whether you go for a Shiloh Shepherd bred to be a pet or a Shiloh Shepherd set for life as a breeding dog.

Most Shilohs are significantly larger than GSD's of the same sex. Our breed standard calls for two inches more in height than the German shepherd standard. Shilohs also have smaller, triangular ears, and less of a square head, more “wolfy” in appearance. They are not as long in the body as German shepherds.

Shiloh Shepherds are slow to mature so owners will have to be patient with their dogs. They require consistent and persistent training along with a lot of patience to work through any potential issues arising from their slowness to mature.
