AHA is the official Arabian horse breed association and registry in the U.S. and Canada, with 16,600 members and more than 1 million registered Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses. The AHA Registry was created in 1908 and was formerly known as the Arabian Horse Registry of America.

The Anglo-Arabian or Anglo-Arab is a crossbred, part-Arabian horse that now also has its own status as a horse breed. It is the result of a Thoroughbred (hence, the prefix "Anglo") being crossed with an Arabian. The cross can be made between a Thoroughbred stallion and an Arabian mare, or vice versa.

Enter a name for your horse (review horse naming policies to ensure your name will be approved) and click “Check Availability.” AQHA will review the name for approval. Select your foal's Color and Gender from the drop-down list. To enroll your horse in the Racing Challenge, click the box next to “Racing Challenge.”

A Transfer of Ownership is completed by filling out the backside of the original copy of the Certificate of Registration for the horse. Ensure that a date of sale and seller signature is listed under the seller's section of the form, and fill out the buyer's section on the right hand side of the form.
