After making the payment on net banking or mobile banking, the sender can check the status under RTGS payment option. In this payment mode, the applicant can fill the Bank of India RTGS form online and submit it. If paying through the branch, the sender has the option to fill-up the form either in English or Hindi.

You can do RTGS transactions using both, online and offline ways. To do the transaction online, you must have active internet banking. On the other hand, if you want to perform the RTGS transaction offline, you will have to visit your nearest RTGS-enabled bank branch and submit a fund transfer form.

The acronym “RTGS” stands for Real Time Gross Settlement. RTGS system is a funds transfer mechanism where transfer of money takes place from one bank to another on a “real time” and on “gross” basis.
