The Board of Governor's (BOG) Fee Waiver is a California state program. The $46 per unit cost of tuition at a California Community College is waived for students who meet the eligibility guidelines.

The California Promise Grant, formerly Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGW), waives the enrollment fees and tuition for eligible California residents attending California Community College. The CCPG Fee Waiver will waive your per-unit enrollment fee for the entire academic year if you apply and qualify.

This state fee waiver was designed to provide educational assistance for eligible students by waiving the enrollment fees. Students can apply by completing the BOG Enrollment Fee Waiver application form and/or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or DREAM ACT(AB 540 Only).

CA College Promise Grant Application The California College Promise Grant (CCPG), formerly known as the BOG Fee Waiver, is a grant that waives enrollment fees only. This 2022-2023 CCPG application covers summer 2022, fall 2022, winter 2023, and spring 2023 terms. Students must re-apply every academic year.

A student has applied for other state and/or federal aid and has demonstrated $1,104 or more of financial need by completing the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application. This is how most students qualify for the BOGW, as most students that do not qualify for a fee waiver based on items 1 or 2.
