Which is the hardest math paper?

In this article, I shall be talking about the toughest math exam in the world, The William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Competition. It is an annual mathematics competition that takes place in the United States and Canada on the first Saturday of December every year.

It seems that paper 3 is probably the hardest of all of the papers. There's only 18 maths revision questions in the Edexcel GCSE Maths Higher Calculator Paper 3, but other than the first few, they are all fairly difficult.

So what is the difference? There is supposed to be no difference, any topic can appear on any paper and the balance of assessment objectives would be about the same on all papers. If there appears to be a difference in the practice/mock papers you have done then it's just how it's worked out for you.

While many consider maths to be a difficult subject, with the right teaching and preparation it can be one of the easier subjects to do well in, as it's not based on the subjective opinion of an examiner like some other subjects are. So how do you pass GCSE maths?

Histograms are one of the hardest topics in maths, particularly when it comes to finding the mean, interquartile range and estimating for some value.

Four Operations. Place Value & Number. Fractions, Decimals & Percentages. Geometry, Position & Measurement. Key Stage 2 (Other Topics) SATs. Worksheets & Practice Questions.

Paper 3 – Advanced Info 2022 Section 1: Number. Section 2: Algebra. Section 3: Ratio, Proportion & Rates of Change (free) Section 4: Geometry & Measures (free) Section 5: Probability. Section 6: Statistics.

Subject content 1 Number. 2 Algebra. 3 Ratio, proportion and rates of change. 4 Geometry and measures. 5 Probability. 6 Statistics.
