FHEPS is a rent supplement for families who receive Cash Assistance (CA) and who have been evicted or are facing eviction, or who lost their housing due to domestic violence. Families who have lost their housing because of health or safety issues or as a result of certain court decisions may also get FHEPS.

The Furniture Program provides good, used, furniture free of charge to families in need, including the working poor, women and their dependent children fleeing domestic violence, families leaving homeless shelters, persons with disabilities and the elderly poor.

The CITYFEPS Rent Supplement Program can help eligible families with children at risk of entry to shelter and those already in shelter to secure permanent housing. The number of households that can be approved to receive the CITYFEPS Rent Supplement will be limited due to available funding.

HRA will pay for a one-bedroom apartment that costs up to $1,312 per month. If your income is $1,000 per month and the rent on your one-bedroom apartment is $1,312 (the maximum rent) HRA will calculate 30% of your income as $300 that you should pay towards rent.
