The mechanics of voiding the MCAT is that it's done at the end of the day. If you leave in the middle of the test, they're going to score your test. So to void the exam, you have to get all the way up to the end.

The only items you may bring into the test room are as follows: your ID and a pair of foam earplugs provided by the test center. All personal items, including jewelry and watches, must be placed in secure storage prior to the test (as directed by the test administrator).

No food or drink is allowed in the exam room. You will not be allowed to bring any electronic devices into the exam, nor can you store them loose in the storage unit that you access during break.

The following items are the only items allowed in the testing room during the MCAT® exam: Photo Identification. Center-provided noteboard and marker. Center-provided storage key. Center provided foam, wireless earplugs.

Can I bring my phone on my MCAT test day? You can put your cellphone in the locker as long as it's turned off. But generally, leave your cellphone at home or in the car. Don't bring your phone into the testing room with you.

Cancelling your MCAT You can cancel your MCAT at any time before your scheduled appointment, but you will only receive a partial refund if you cancel prior to the Gold Zone Deadline, or 29 days before your scheduled test date. If you cancel after the Gold Zone Deadline, you won't receive a refund.

You will be asked to sign-in, present valid identification, have your palms digitally scanned, and have a test-day photograph taken. To be admitted into the testing room, you will need to present an ID that meets the AAMC's requirements for valid identification.

The ONLY things you are allowed to bring in are yourself, your ID, and the key to your locker. They will provide you with paper and pencils, which you have to give back after the test is completed. Please see AAMC's MCAT Essentials- which you all should have read by now anyway if you've registered for the exam.
