The medical examination will be conducted by one of the appointed panel physicians. It consists of a physical examination (eyes, ears, nose, throat, extremities, heart, lungs, abdomen, lymph nodes, skin and external genitalia), chest X-ray and a blood test.

The visa form includes a medical assessment which must be completed by a doctor. You will be required to have a urine test for chlamydia & gonorrhoea, a blood test for glucose levels, HbA1C, HIV, Hepatitis B & C, & Syphilis, & a chest X-ray.

You should complete your medical exam at least three weeks prior to your interview date. If you received your appointment date with less than three weeks' notice, please contact the doctor's office to schedule your medical appointment as soon as possible.
