High school students will take End of Course (EOC) assessments if enrolled in the following courses: English I/II. Algebra I/Geometry/Algebra II, or Integrated Math I/II/III. U.S. History and Geography. Biology.

Florida EOC Assessment results are reported on a score scale which ranges from 325 to 475 for each subject area.

The U.S. History EOC is computer-based and is given in one 160-minute sessions, with a break after the first 80 minutes. It is a multiple-choice test with 60 questions.

EOC assessments are computer-based, criterion-referenced assessments that measure the Benchmarks for Excellent Student Thinking (B.E.S.T.) Standards, Florida Standards, or the Next Generation Sunshine State Standards (NGSSS) for specific courses, as outlined in their course descriptions.

To graduate, the minimum cu- mulative score on the three tests for each con- tent area equals three passing standard scores. Therefore, any score below 3500 must be compensated with a score, or scores, above 3500 on another EOC test in that con- tent area. Students should retest to raise their score.

Each day is a 90 – minute session. The first session is a non – calculator session and the second session is a calculator – permitted session. There is a total of 64 – 68 items on the FSA Algebra 1 EOC, about 32 – 34 items per session.
