A duly attested photo means the photo has been certified by a gazetted officer with his seal and sign to be genuine. And the photo truly identifies a real person.

It would be better if you pen down the following on the said document 'this is a true scanned copy of the original and that the original is in my possession ' then sign beneath the same.
