Delete Record For Free

In SQL, you can delete a row in a table by using the DELETE query and the WHERE clause.

Delete a recordOpen the table in Datasheet View or form in Form View.Select the record or records that you want to delete. To select a record, click the record selector next to the record, if the record selector is available.Press DELETE, select Home > Records > Delete, or press Ctrl+Minus Sign (-).

To delete all the records in a report:Create (or open) a table report that contains the records you want to delete. Select More, then select Delete these records. A window appears to confirm the deletion.

TRUNCATE command is different from DELETE command. The delete command will delete all the rows from a table whereas truncate command not only deletes all the records stored in the table, but it also re-initializes the table(like a newly created table).
