Word 2016. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide to show all formatting marks including page breaks. Double-click the page break to select it, then press Delete.

Select File Options. Click Advanced. Scroll down to "Display options for this worksheet". Clear the check box "Show page breaks".

To remove a page break you added in manually, click the Home tab. Click Show/Hide ¶ to display the page breaks in your document. Find the manual page break you want to remove and double click the page break to highlight it. Finally, hit the Delete or Backspace key to remove it.

Remove the Default Space Between Paragraphs:Set your cursor to the location of the paragraph spacing. Click on the Line and Paragraph Spacing icon in the Home Ribbon. Select "Remove Extra Space" to remove the extra space. This has to be done in each document unless you adjust your default settings.

If you have difficulty deleting a section break, click the View tab in the Ribbon and select Draft in the Views group. Select the break by dragging over it and then press Delete. Return to Print Layout View by clicking the View tab again and clicking Print Layout in the Views group.

Remove Section and Page Breaks in Word on MacClick and drag your cursor over the break that you'd like to remove to select it. Selected breaks are highlighted in blue. Next, simply press Delete on your keyboard. The selected break will now be removed.
