To hang anchor charts, I would just (carefully) open up the clothespins and pin up the chart paper. If we wanted to add more to the chart, I could just take it down and then hang it back up later. So easy! I left these bulletin boards up for an entire year.

Hang in a place where you can refer to it often. Once you have your anchor chart done, hang it in a place where your students can see it and refer back to it. You may want to refer to it as well. I refer to some of my expectation anchor charts weekly, just as a reminder of what is expected.

Teacher Hack: hang anchor charts with a paper clip looped through a binder clip, then slide the paper clip into the drop ceiling. No more posters falling off the walls with sticky tack! Sturdy enough to hold multiple old anchor charts behind the new ones.

Even if you teach the same concepts each year, you can't really reuse anchor charts year after year because they need to be co-constructed with your current group of students. Hence there is no reason to ever laminate an anchor chart.
