RTI aims to identify kids who are struggling in school. It uses targeted teaching to help them catch up. An important part of RTI is measuring progress and providing more support to kids who need it.

The California Department of Education (CDE) is coining the term Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtI²) to define a general education approach of high-quality instruction and early intervention, prevention, and behavioral strategies.

Occupational therapists (NOC 3143)

OT practitioners spend lots of time on documentation. Our notes help us track patient progress, communicate with other healthcare providers, and defend our rationale for our treatment choices.

Intervention: In order to incorporate client centered interventions occupational therapists can go through for 4 levels of intervention (adjunctive, enabling, purposeful, and occupation based) for successful treatment.

Use the framework intervention approaches to define the most appropriate focus for each domain listed below, using one or more of these five approaches: create/promote, establish/restore, maintain, modify, or prevent.

Manual therapy is often used by physical therapists and occupational therapists to reach treatment goals, including: Reducing pain. Reducing or eliminating inflammation. Increasing range of motion.

Response to Intervention (RtI), an early intervening service, is a multi-tiered approach within general education that provides services early to struggling learners to facilitate school success.
