Description
Plaintiff filed a claim for divorce and equitable distribution of marital property against defendant. The parties have also agreed to the entry of a Qualified Domestic Relations Order to address the assignment to plaintiff of certain benefits held by the defendant in and to certain retirement benefits. The court stated that plaintiff is entitled to a portion of the vested defined pension retirement rights held in the name of the defendant. By the agreement of the parties, the court will retain jurisdiction of the action for the purpose of the entry of any amendments that may be required to qualify the order as a Qualified Domestic Relations Order.
