What is Included in a Lifetime License? As the owner of a lifetime combination license, you may hunt and fish in the State of Oklahoma for as long as you live, subject to the rules set forth for the separate hunting and fishing licenses described below.

ALL PURCHASED LICENSES AND PERMITS MUST BE CARRIED ON YOUR PERSON AT ALL TIMES WHILE AFIELD (ELECTRONIC LICENSES ON YOUR PHONE ARE NOW ALLOWED). ALL LICENSES MAY BE PURCHASED ONLINE.

Much of the land in Oklahoma is privately owned. Hunters can typically freely take game animals hunted on their own private property, or may seek permission from a landowner to hunt on private property.

Oklahoma and out-of-state residents can purchase their sportsmen licenses in-store or online at http://WildlifeDepartment.com. To ensure all sportsmen have convenient access to purchasing hunting and fishing licenses, the ODWC sells licenses in more than 700 stores throughout the state.

Resident landowners or tenants who hunt only on land owned or agriculturally leased by them (not including hunting leases) are exempt from the hunting license.

Hunters must have a separate $14.50 tag for each deer harvested next week. Residents and former residents with a lifetime hunting or combination license are exempt from purchasing deer tags. However, they must obtain a carcass tag for the deer at the time they check in their animal.
