What are stock certificates? These professional quality certificates represent ownership shares of your company's owners. Set of 5, 10 or 20 Stock Certificates for corporations, LLC, or other business entities are available. The certificates are lithographed and imprinted. US orders only. Certificates will be imprinted with the name of your business, state in which organized, number of authorized shares and par value, if any. Once signed by the appropriate company office and the stock owner, the certificate is complete.
What is a stock's par value? Par value is the nominal dollar amount assigned to a security by the issuer. For an equity security (stocks), par is usually a very small amount that bears no relationship to its market price, except for preferred stock, in which case par is used to calculate dividend payments.
